On May 2, 2019, the Lynchburg Bar Associated held it’s annual member meeting which commemorates the changing of the guard for a new fiscal year. The President, Jordan Davies, reported on the activities from the last year and updated the membership regarding ongoing and future activities.
At the end of the meeting, Jordan Davies ceremoniously handed the gavel to Eugene Butler as the new President of the Bar Association.
Later, Jordan Davies said:
“For the past year, I had the privilege of leading the Lynchburg Bar Association as its President. With the help of the Board and other attorneys in the Lynchburg area, we were successful in planning and implementing various programs to aid our local Bar, and to positively impact the City of Lynchburg. I am very pleased to “pass the baton” to Eugene Butler, our new President. I know that he is fully committed to continuing to grow and strengthen our organization. I look forward to working with him as he implements his vision for the Lynchburg Bar Association.”
